FileMaker Pro Synchronization

Saving this mapping for future use

If you will need to perform this same synchronization again in the future, you can specify a name for your new mapping. In the future, it will be available in the popup menu on the first step of the assistant.

Performing the synchronization

MacSQL now has the necessary data to perform a synchronization. Press the Start Synch button to start the synchronization process. MacSQL will then communicate with FileMaker Pro to perform the synchronization. For AppleScript connections, this operation can take some time for large databases, as a number of messages must be sent between MacSQL and FileMaker Pro for each record that is synchronized.

If any errors occur during the synchronization process, they will appear in the error log (available from the Window menu) and you will be notified that there were errors when the synchronization is complete.
