When exporting data as text, XML, HTML, or Excel, the Export Assistant will walk you through the following steps:

You will be presented with a list of the tables you can export. Currently MacSQL will only allow you to export one table at a time.

The second step is to select which columns you would like to view. Mark the columns you would like to export, or press the Select All button to export every column. You can reorder the columns via drag & drop.

You will now be asked about some optional steps that can be performed. If you'd like to have the column names show up in the export file, check the Export column names as first row checkbox. Finally, if you would like to only export a limited set of data, you can enter a where clause in the text box.

The final step is to press Start Export and perform the export. A progress bar will appear to show you the status of the export. When complete, you will be notified.
